The wait is finally over! The much-anticipated first look of Lalbaugcha Raja 2025 has been unveiled in Mumbai, filling devotees’ hearts with devotion and excitement ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi 2025.

The Majestic Idol

This year, the idol of Lalbaugcha Raja has been designed with unparalleled grandeur and divine charm:

Attire & Adornments:

Bappa is seen in a royal purple dhoti and a majestic crown, seated gracefully on a golden throne. His attire also features maroon (merun) garments with golden embellishments, symbolizing prosperity and blessings.

Backdrop & Theme:

The mandap resembles a lavish “Gajanan Mahal”, inspired by the crown of Tirupati Balaji. The magnificent darbar rises to nearly 50 feet, making it taller and more majestic than previous years.

Lighting & Ceremony:

The unveiling was celebrated with dazzling laser lights, chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya,” and an overwhelming presence of devotees.

Eco-Friendly Approach

In tune with sustainable practices, this year’s idol has been crafted using lightweight and eco-friendly materials. This ensures not only grandeur but also a smoother, cleaner immersion during the visarjan.

Dates of Celebration

Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated from Wednesday, 27th August 2025 to Saturday, 6th September 2025. During this period, lakhs of devotees are expected to visit Lalbaug to seek the blessings of Navsacha Ganpati – the wish-fulfilling Ganesha.
