It had been foretold that the eight son of Devaki would kill the evil king Kansa.Upon hearing this prophesy, Kansa had his sister put in to prison. He killed her seven children one by one, but when Krishna was born, there was divine intervention to save the life of baby Krishna. The guards had fallen into deep slumber and were unable to inform their king about the newborn child.

A voice commanded Vasudev to take the baby to Gokul and exchange with the newborn baby of Nanda and Yashoda. The shackles and the prison gates opened miraculously and Vasudev carried the child in a small basket, wading through the waters of Yamuna. As it was a dark stormy night, the waters of Yamuna were raging but subside to let Vasudev pass.A huge snake known as Asisesha with 2000 hoods, glided behind them, with its hoods forming a protective canopy over the child.

When vasudev returned with Nanda's child, the shackles fastened and the doors closed and the guards awakened.kansa came and picked up the child to hurl it to the wall and kill her but somehow the baby slipped from his grasp and took the form of a goddess, laughing at kansa , she vanished after tlling him that the one who would kill him had already taken birth and was elsewhere.

As a little boy , Krishna was the heartbeat of Gokul, a mischievous prankster, who was favourite amongst the gopikas. He used to steal curd and butter from the houses of gopikas.Even though he was a child , he performed several miracles. His exploits of ' asuras(devils), vanquished the kali Nag, and later he killed Kansa as it had been foretold.

Eid-e-Milad-Eid-e-Milad Celebration-Eid-e-Milad Whatsapp Sms-Eid-e-Milad-Facebook Sms-Eid-e-Milad Greetings-Eid-e-Milad Pictures-Eid-e-Milad Screps

Eid-e-Milad Celebration

Eid-e-Milad is celebrated in the memory of Prophet Muhammed. The HolyProphet was born on the twelfth day of Rabi-ul-Awwal in 570 C.E Saudi Arabia, Mecca. Rabi-ul-Awwal is the third month of the Muslim year. Eid-e-Milad is both, a time to rejoice and a time to mourn, since the Prophet passed away on the same day.

The tradition of celebrating the Holy Prophet's birthday on a large scale began in Egypt by the Prophet's descendants, through his daughter Fatima. It was celebrated mainly by religious scholars and religious establishments. They gathered to hear sermons, distributed sweets, alms and particularly honey, the Prophet's favourite.
When we celebrate Milad, we gather, in order to send salutations (Esal-e-Swaab) to the Prophet (May Allah bless him and grant Him peace), give charity to the poor (Sadaqah Khairat) and remember wilaadah(Birth) and virtues of the Prophet (May Allah bless him and grant Him peace). The Ahl as-Sunnah does not say that one must celebrate “Milad” only on 12 Rabee’-ul-Awwal, in fact it can be celebrated at anytime of the year. Generally Milad-un-Nabi is celebrated, on the 12th of Rabee’ul-Awwal, by Muslims all over the world. In every Muslim country, there is a public holiday for “Milaad-un-Nabee”, except one country, but even in that country, the people celebrate “Milaad” individually. The birth of the Anbiyaa’ has been mentioned in the Qur’an. For example, Adam, Musaa, Eesaa, and Yahyaa (May Allah bless them and grant them peace). If it is wrong to talk about the birth of the Prophet (May Allah bless him and grant him peace), then why has Allah Ta,lala  mentioned it in the Quran?
