Ganesh Chaturthi commences on the fourth day of Hindu Luni-solar calendar month Bhadrapada. It is believed that Lord Ganesh, son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati was born on Shukla Paksha Chaturthi in Magh month (fourth day of the bright half of moon’s cycle during January/February), decided by Hindu calendar (lunar calendar). Ganesh Chaturthi festival is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, or Ganeshotsav is celebrated to remember his birthday and venerates him as the god of good beginnings, fortune, wisdom, prosperity and obstacle remover (Vighnaharta). Lalbaugcharaja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal of Lalbaug is one of Mumbai’s most well-known pandals. Lalbaugcha Raja (King of Lalbaug) was founded in 1934 and is undoubtedly the most renowned and largest Ganesh statue in Mumbai, as well as the most visited. Lalbaugcha Raja mandal will build a replica of Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir this year.

Lalbaugcha Raja Mukh Darshan will be available for 24 hours from ev3ning 7.00 PM, st 29th August Monday 2022 onwards. Mukh Darshan line will take the following route:- Chhatrapati Shivaji Ground (Garam Khada) – Dr.B.A. Road – Dattaram Lad Marg – T.B. Kadam Marg – Add’l C.P. office – Dr B.A. Road – RANI BAUG on Central Line. To reach here, one can come from Chinchpokali or Byculla Station.

Shri Jagannath Rath Yatra Histiry

In the Hindu month of Aashadha, the Yatra generally begins on the Dwitiya Tithi (second day), Shukla Paksha (waxing phase of the Moon). According to the Gregorian calendar, the event is presently held in June or July.

The Jagannath Temple is one of Hinduism’s four most important pilgrimages, with enormous religious importance. Ratha Yatra will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021, this year. The Dwitiya Tithi begins on July 11, 2021, at 7:47, and concludes on July 12, 2021 at 8:19.

History and Significance

Shri Jagannathji, Balabhadraji, and Subhadraji are revered at the Jagannath Puri shrine by the uninitiated. The current temple was erected in the 12th century by King Chodagan Dev. The temple is built in the Kalinga style. During the Rath Yatra, Shri Jagannathji, Balabhadraji, and Subhadraji ride in separate chariots to their aunt’s residence, the Gundicha temple, which is three kilometres from the Puri temple. They return to the Puri temple after an eight-day visit.

As the Gujarat government has approved Jagannath Rath Yatra in Ahmedabad, police commissioner Sanjay Srivastava stated that everyone taking part in this Yatra on July 12 will have to adhere to COVID guidelines and follow social distancing norms.Forty eight people, who will participate in the procession, will be tested for Covid-19 at least 48 hours before taking out the yatra. They will undergo RT-PCR Covid-19 tests.

 

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the state government has made it clear that except for three chariots and two other vehicles, no other vehicle, singing troupes, akhadas, elephants or decorated trucks will be allowed during the procession this time.

To stop people from gathering along the route for a glimpse of the deity, a curfew will be imposed on the entire yatra route from early morning till afternoon, Minister of State for Home Pradeepsinh Jadeja told reporters in the state capital Gandhinagar.

Last year, only a symbolic rath yatra was organised in the premises of the Lord Jagannath temple in Jamalpur area here after the Gujarat High Court denied permission for the usual public procession in the wake of the pandemic.

Traditionally, the procession, led by chariots, would start early at around 7 am from the 400-year-old temple and return by 8 pm.

Here I am going to tell you a brief about a Great personality also known as our nation’s Father and that is the One and Only “Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi” Or “Mahatma Ghandhi”. Below I have provided Brief Information about Mahatma Gandhi, a person who is still living in the heart of people in India. Each and Every Person of the India knows him very well him, A Famous Personality called “Bapu” also. Indian people call him the “Father of Nation”.

The time period from the year 1920 to 1947 had been described as the Gandhian Era in Indian Politics. When Mahatma Ghandhi ji born British rule had been established in India. Mohandas Karamchand Ghandhi or “Mahatma Gandhi” is very famous in India as other name “Bapu” and “Rastrapita”.He was born on 2nd of October in 1869 and their birthplace Porbandar a small town on the western coast of India, which was then one of the many tiny states in Kathiawar, which is situated in Gujarat. He was born in a middle class family of Vaishya caste. Ghandhi ji’s grandfather had become Prime Minister of Porbandar and was succeeded by the father of the Gandhi jigs and that is Karamchand. His Mother Name Was Putlibhai and she was very gentle and devout and had a drastic impression on Ghandhi ji’s mind.Ghandhi Ji Had studied in the school of Porbandar, where he found it difficult to master the multiplication tables. In his seven year age his family had relocated in Rajkot, in Kathiyavad, Gujarat in India. He had completed his primary school and high school in Rajkot. He had died on 30th of January in 1948. India’s Future generations will remember him as a patriot, politician and nation-builder, Freedom Fighter and much more.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi ji is also called as “Mahatma” because of his great works and greatness all through the life. Mahatma Ghandhi I was a great freedom fighter for India. He believed in non violent activities, Ghandhi I have always followed violence all though his life while leading India to the independence from British rule. At the age of 18 years He started studying law in the England there after he went to the British colony of South Africa where he practiced his law. There He realizes that he is teasing from the light skin people because of being a dark skin person. This was the reason to make him a political activist for making some positive changes in such unfair laws. After his return to India he started a powerful movement to make India an independent country. 

Ghandhi ji was a genius; so to speak, He was an infinite capacity for taking pains in fulfillment of a restless moral urge. In their whole life he was continuous striving, a relentless search for truth.

Throughout his life, Gandhi fearlessly fought for the rights and dignity of people, also fought to rid Indian society of the age-old and deep-seated prejudice against the Untouchable castes. Gandhi employed non-violent resistance to lead the successful campaign for the independence of India from the colonial rule. His constant promotion of non-violence as a tool has not only freed India from the British but also won millions of hearts leaving its mark on the world. Therefore, we can rightly call him the “father of the nation”.
