Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi festival is the Hindu festival that celebrates brotherhood and love.It is celebrated on the full moon in the month of Shraavana in the lunar calendar.Today this day.All Indian Hindu People celebrate Rakhi festival.
The word Raksha means protection, whilst
Bandhan is the verb to tie. Traditionally, during the festival sisters
tie a rakhi, a bracelet made of interwoven red and gold threads, around
their brothers' wrists to celebrate their relationship. This thread,
which pulsates with sisterly love and sublime sentiments, is rightly
called the Rakhi. This ritual not only strengthens the bond of love
between brothers and sisters, but also transcends the confines of the
family.
Rakshabandhan
festival is known as Balev and Nariyeli Purnima.Brahmin people change
there janoi.All the fishermen apply coconut to see.(Dariya Dev).

assumes all forms of Raksha or protection, of righteousness and
destroyer of all sin. The ritual of Rakhi tying has become so important
that come what may, brothers and sisters try to visit each other place
on this particular day tin order to bring back the oneness of the
family, binding the family together in an emotional bond of love.
