Bhadrapadi Purnima(fullmoon day) is the main festival when a big fair of devotees is spontaneously done Ambaji Fair. Bhadrapada Ambaji fair is a very famous fair which is organized in the state of Gujarat in Ambaji Village Banaskantha district at one of the 51 Shaktipeeths Ma Adhyashakti Arasuri Goddesh Amba Temple.The Fair is organized at Ambaji temple by Shri Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust Ambaji .The Fair is organized in Gujarati month Bhadrapada day of Purnima(full moon day) and according to English calendar month of August-September.

Ambaji fair is specifically more important to farmers as it symbolizes the end of busy monsoon season for them. Devotees of Ambaji Mataji are celebrating Ambaji Purnima(full moon day) fair with full of devotions.
The Bhadrapada Ambaji Fair is a fair where not only Hindus but all the all religion people come to visit the fair and participate in the fair. In this fair  more than fifteen  to Seventeen lakhs of devotees use to come to worship Ma Amba on this eve and thousands of them come here in community like Padyatri Sangh with the spirit of faith simply by walking from far distant areas situated even at the other ends of Gujarat and from all parts of India. Thousans of such Padayatri(Pagpala-Walking) Sang use to come here to celebrate a Big Religious Fair of Shri Ambaji Mata.Many Padyatri come with Amba Mata Rath.Really Ambaji Fair is very important and Gujarat's Biggest fair.

In this fair Daily 29 Lak litre water will be available with facility of water tanks at 27 places, tap water places, machine tanker at 13 places and handpumps 141 place.

The entire area of fair has been distributed in 22 zones and 9 sectors.19 Dysp, 236 PSI and cops will be involved in bandobast.7 control rooms, 27 watch towers, 101 CCTV cameras and 17 PTZ cameras will be used to keep vigil.

Aarti will take place at 6:15 AM.Temple will remain open 1:30PM.Separate twin railing facility has been created for quickly moving queues for darshan.

Emergency light inverator are placed at 13 places, generators at 14 places and solar light are places at 14 place.

By Air: The Nearest Airport is Ahmedabad International Airport.You can can hire local taxis for a cheaper fare.

By Rail: Abu Road station, which is located at a distance of 29 kms from Mount Abu, is the nearest railway station to reach Ambaji. The distance between Abu Road station and Ambaji is 20 kms.

By Road: There are many public and private vehicals available to reach Ambaji Temple.Ambaji is located at a distance of 180 kms from Ahmedabad. Regular bus services from GSRTC are available for travelers’ convenience. Tourists can reach Ambaji from other places including Gandhinagar, Vadodara and Ankleshwar of Gujarat. Bus services are also available from Mount Abu, Jaipur and Udaipur of Rajasthan toAmbaji.
