Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is one of the Biggest Holy Pilgrimage for Hindu's , Budhhist, Bon & Jain Religion.The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, is a pilgrimage and the intent should be to visit it for peace, both within each person and then the world.Every year, thousands of people make a pilgrimage to Kailash, following a tradition going back thousands of years. Kailash is Mountain and also called as Mount Kailash & Mansarovar is a Lake and known as Lake mansarovar located 1000 kilometres away from Kathmandu and approx 45 kms 
before Mount Kailash Parvat.Kailash yatra Organised Every Year By China India Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Pilgrimage Service Centre ( CIPSC) . CIPSC is the authorised Chinese Government agency to org anise Tours For kailash Mansarovar Yatra for All the International Pilgrims Specially for Indians & Non Resident Indian’s ( NRI). Any one who is residing in India or USA, UK, UAE , America, London, Europe , Qatar, Dubai, Singapore etc will have to go through the CIPSC authorised agency only .
Ministry of External Affairs organizes this Yatra during June to September each year through two different routes - Lipulekh Pass (Uttarakhand),and Nathu La Pass (Sikkim). Kailash Manasarovar Yatra (KMY) is known for its religious value, cultural significance, physical beauty and thrilling nature. It is undertaken by hundreds of people every year. Holding significance for Hindus as the abode of Lord Shiva, it holds religious importance also for the Jains and the Buddhists. It is open to eligible Indian citizens,holding valid Indian passports, who wish to proceed to Kailash-Manasarovar for religious purposes. The Kailash Manasarovar Yatra has been recognized by the Indian Mountaineering Foundation as a trekking expedition. Ministry of External Affairs does not provide any subsidy or financial assistance to Yatris. Route of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra
