Rohini vrat (Fast) is observed when the Rohini Nakshatra rises in the sky once in each 27 days and on that day this Rohini vrat is performed. Rohini Vrat is a fairly common vrat practiced by the Jain s, particularly; the Jain ladies, on a fairly regular basis. Rohini Vrat is mainly observed by women for the long life of their husbands.There are twelve Rohini fasting days in a year. Usually Rohini Vrat is observed for three, five or seven years continuously.
